Maxim has become a company that we feel is planet friendly.  We look out for the welfare of our employees, as well as the natural resources our products rely on.  We’ve also tried to become a company that thinks in terms of globalization.  Even though we manufacture most of our products in China many of the raw materials come from other parts of the world.  We take care to find sources that only take from government approved reforested land, and go the extra step to plant three trees for every one that is taken.  One source we use, which many people may not think of, is right here in our backyard.  Much of the wood in our line comes from U.S. forests.  In doing this, we try to help the U.S. economy, while at the same time assuring quality wood.
